Review:
Okay I know I don't normally read books like this but I can safely say I adored this book, it is a gripping story which will play on your heartstrings can defiantly make you shed a tear or two, and the fact that this it is based off things that have actually happened make it a gripping read that will not disappoint you, as I could not put it down even though this is not the type of book I normally read it was so much better then I thought it would be

Goddess By Josephine Angelini

Name: Goddess
Author: Josephine Angelini
Rating: 5 out of 5
Blurb:
'She wrapped her arms around his chest and let the tears come . . . for Orion, for herself and for Lucas. She had power over the most magnificent forces on earth, but she still didn't feel like she had power over the most important thing of all - her own heart'
Helen's powers are increasing - and so is the distance between her and her mortal friends. To make matters worse the Oracle reveals that a dangerous traitor is lurking among them, and all fingers point to Orion. Still unsure whether she loves him or Lucas, Helen is forced to make a terrifying decision or risk all-out war
My Review:
Why is this series over? It can not be the end! Goddess is a beautiful book which has disappointed me what so ever I just can't believe the series is over. The book is beautifully written and is probably the best in the series, with its breathtaking cover it has been a truly magical story with everyone and we do not forget those who were there at the start and are sadly no longer there as this tale of love sadly comes to a beautiful end. All I can do now is wait for Angelini's next book series.

Free Books for kindle!

Heya, please don't hate me because I haven't been on in ages but I've been a very busy girl revising and doing all of my homework so please don't hate me!
I'm currently reading 'This is a call' By Paul Brannigan, its the life and times of Dave Grohl and I am a huge fan of his music so!
But I'm here today to talk about free books for kindle!
I know when you buy a free book, its a risk on whether they book is actually going to be any good, and so far I've read four kindle free books and they are Earth; Betrayal; Coexist and Shimmerspell. And two have been good and two bad so.
Heres a free one that I've Just downloaded:

Tears of the Broken (Dark Secrets) By A.M.Hudson

Tears of the Broken (Dark Secrets)Vampires do not care about the myths people believe. They feed on humans, walk in the daylight, and no, they certainly do not sparkle. The only problem is, they don't usually fall in love with their food, either. But David Knight is about to discover that love knows nothing of morals or laws.
When Ara-Rose learns the truth about her boyfriend, David, she will be forced into a world of death and secrecy. Living each day on a path lit by predictability, Ara had never imagined such nightmares could exist. Now, her fate is measured by a choice between eternal love and a normal life, a decision she only has until the end of the summer to make.

Anna Dressed In Blood By Kendare Blake

Name: Anna Dresseed In Blood
Author: Kedare Blake
Rating: 5 out of 5
Blurb:
Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead.
So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now, armed with his father's mysterious and deadly athame, Cas travels the country with his kitchen-witch mother and their spirit-sniffing cat. Together they follow legends and local lore, trying to keep up with the murderous dead—keeping pesky things like the future and friends at bay.
When they arrive in a new town in search of a ghost the locals call Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas doesn't expect anything outside of the ordinary: track, hunt, kill. What he finds instead is a girl entangled in curses and rage, a ghost like he's never faced before. She still wears the dress she wore on the day of her brutal murder in 1958: once white, now stained red and dripping with blood. Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home.
But she, for whatever reason, spares Cas's life.
My Review:
This book is like nothing else I have ever read and to tell you the truth it was amazing! I loved this book so much and everything about it is to die for! The cover is beautiful, the characters are very loveable, and the story line was just perfect! I now love Kendare Blake for writing such an amazing book and I can't tell you how excited I am about reading the girl of nightmares! Ekkkk! If you own Anna dressed in blood and you love/are okay with horror then please read Anna Dressed in Blood!

ShimmerSpell By Kimberly Spencer

Shimmerspell (The Shimmer Trilogy, #1)Name: Shimmerspell
Author: Kimberly Spencer
Rating: 2 out of 5
Blurb:
When sixteen-year-old Jensen Meadows finds herself caught in the middle of an ancient faerie war, she soon learns that faeries aren't made of sparkly goodness. They're vicious. And worse, they're after her. With the help of Liam Casey, she delves into their world to find her missing sister and begins to suspect that her whole life has been nothing more than a faerie tale.
But maybe some truths should never be revealed...

My Review:
This book confused me so much I no longer enjoyed reading it, also the ending was so guessable as it pretty much gave the end way half way through the book, But I shall read then second book but only because I have it, lets just sat if I didn't have it it wouldn't really bother me, this book was free on kindle which I'm really happy about because if I would have brought this book I'd be slightly annoyed!

Coexist By Julia Crane

Name: Coexist
Coexist (Keegan's Chronicles, #1)Author: Julia Crane
Rating: 3 out of 5
Blurb:
Sixteen-year-old Keegan is struggling to keep her huge secret from her friends--she's an elf, descended from a long line of elves that live in secrecy alongside humans. In elfin society, mates are predetermined but not allowed to meet until they are eighteen. Against tradition, Keegan's brother Thaddeus told her Rourk's name because his visions warned him she'd need Rourk's protection, especially since Keegan will play a key role in the coming war between the dark and light elves.
Rourk finds himself drawn to Keegan's side every time she thinks his name. He wants to talk to her but remains in the shadows, silently guarding her every time she mentally beckons him. A twist of fate thrusts the two of them together when Rourk is forced to step up his protection and make his presence known. An ancient prophecy deeply entwines Keegan's family and the future of their society. Somehow they must find a way to thwart fate and win the battle...without losing Keegan. With war brewing, and dark forces aligning, will Keegan and Rourk ever have the life together that they both desire?

My Review:
Really like the idea of this book and the fact it was about elves mades me want to read it even more but I didn't get on as well as I had hoped I would with this book, maybe it was because it was to modern for me as throughout the book it kept going 'Then Keegan logged out of her tumblr' and it just got so annoying as it even said what type of computer and phone she had! Will I read the other books in the Keegan Chronicles, maybe but I don't know as I'm not a huge fan of Cranes writting.

My Review:
This book had everything in it, Greek Gods, Vampires, Were Shifters, Love, Forbidden Love and Betrayal! I loved the idea of this book even though it was quite confusing at the start, also it's the first in the Descendants Triology (I think it's going to be a triology anyway) which means one amazing thing, theres going to be more books! I fell in love with Evan, Nikolas and maybe evenb Victor. I believe this is Michels first book and so far she is looking like she is going to be an amazing new author!

Halo by Alexandra Adornetto

Name: Halo
Author: Alexandra Adornetto
Ratin: 5 out of 5
Blurb:
Is Love a great enough power againist evil?
Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself...
My Review:
When I first got this book I wasn't to sure about it as I'd heard mixed things either you loved it or you hated it, a bit like marmite. Personally I loved it! It was an amazing book and wasn't like anyother angel book I've read and I can't wait for the rest of the series as they look equally as good! Hade is out but Heaven isn't yet but I believe it comes out later this month.
I loved how Adornetto had written in and she was so young when she started writting it aswell which makes it even better! Also I quite liked it how in the acknowledgements she said how this is a working project which you don't see very often in books!

Blurb:

She spends her nights in the Underworld in search of them and, tormented by her worst nightmares made real, she's beginning to suffer from extreme exhaustion on top of heartbreak.
One night, Helen meets another person down in the shadowy Underworld: Orion, descended Adonis and with the power to control desire. Still in love with Lucas but drawn to this seductive stranger, Helen must make her choice that could save her life but break her heart...
My Review:
Dreamless is a beautiful book which has stayed so close to the truth and it didn't disapoint me what so ever and in ways it suprised me because of the way things went, Angelini is an amazingly talented author and the Awakening Series is her first set of books I have got high hopes for her in the future because this series so far has been amazing but one thing that does make me sad is that if there is going to be another book I am going have to wait at least another year for it!

Waiting on Wednesday 25/07/2012

*Waiting On Wednesday is a meme where you basically share an upcoming book that you’re excited to read. It’s hosted over at Breaking the Spine by Jill. *
The Book I am waiting for this week is Fire By Shauna Granger which I will be the 4th book  in her Elemental series asI found out found Shauna herself. I have read the first one and I'm going to read the second and third as soon as possible and so far I am loving the series.
At the moment the is no cover art or blurb for Fire as it is still in the writing stages but it doesn't mean we can't get excited for it because it truly does sound amazing and Grangers next blog tour is in December so I am hopeing to take part it that because sadly I didn't see the sign ups for the last which I am really disappointed about because I would have loved to have taken part as I have never done a blog tour before.

30 day book Challenge: Day 18

Day 18: A book which Disappointed you

30 Day book challenge: Day 17

Day 16: Favourite quote from your favourite book
My Favourite quote from my favourite book which is Jurassic Park By Michael Crichton if you didn't already know would have to be this. Because it shows how the characters are trying to get there head around what they are seeing and how it could even end, because even towards the start of the book they knew that something bad was going to happen,

“God created dinosaurs. God destroyed dinosaurs. God created Man. Man destroyed God. Man created dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs eat man...Woman inherits the earth.”
